Meet Beloved Carter

For over a decade, I've had the honor of serving New London. For ten years, I directed our community's only free breakfast program, and even in retirement, I'm still there every "Miracle Monday," helping to feed, clothe, and uplift our neighbors. My life's work has been to serve as an advocate for those who feel unheard.

I am not a politician; I am a lifelong member of this community. My family has called New London home for seven generations, and my love for our city runs deep—from our vibrant port to our incredible people. I believe New London is a "GEM of the 95 corridor," and as a City Council member, I am committed to helping her shine.

I will bring a new level of transparency and accountability to our local government, insisting on clear agendas, line-item budgets, and clear accountability from our non-profits, education, and housing sectors.

It's time for us to unite and work together. Let's make our beloved New London the city she was meant to be.
